Australian Turban [Myrtea australis]

Description
Another species of marine gastropod mollusks in the Turbinidae family. Known as the Australian Turban, it is endemic to the waters off Australia. It has a thick, rounded shell with a well-developed, often toothed, operculum. The color is typically a mix of cream, brown, and green. This species is found in the intertidal zone and shallow subtidal areas on rocky substrates, where it grazes on algae.
