Atolla vanhoeffeni [Atolla vanhoeffeni]

Description
Atolla vanhoeffeni is a species of deep-sea crown jellyfish. It is found in the deep sea, and like other members of its genus, it has bioluminescent capabilities. When threatened, Atolla vanhoeffeni emits a series of bright, bioluminescent flashes, meant to draw the attention of any larger predators in the vicinity and inspire them to attack the creature threatening the jellyfish.
