Atolla parva [Atolla parva]
Description
Atolla parva is a species of deep-sea crown jellyfish. It inhabits deep-sea environments and is bioluminescent. Like other members of the Atolla genus, it uses a burglar alarm defense in response to threats, producing a series of flashes meant to attract larger predators that will hopefully attack the creature posing a threat to the jellyfish.
