Description
Atolla bairdii is another species of deep-sea crown jellyfish. Living in deep-sea environments, it shares the same bioluminescent threat response as other Atolla species. Upon a predator's attack, it uses bright flashes of light to attract larger predators, causing a shift of threat from itself to the attacker.
