Atlantic tuskshell [Cadulus tolmiei]

Description
The Atlantic tuskshell is a small, deep-water scaphopod that inhabits the Atlantic Ocean. It has a slender, curved, cylindrical shell, which is white or pale yellow in color. The shell is open at both ends, allowing the animal's foot to extend for burrowing into the sea floor. It feeds on foraminiferans and other small organisms.
