Atlantic Sagartiogeton [Sagartiogeton undatus]

Description
The Atlantic Sagartiogeton is found in the Atlantic Ocean, from the Arctic to the Mediterranean. It prefers rocky substrates and can be found from the intertidal zone down to depths of 50m. It is a smaller species, usually only reaching about 20cm in height. It is easily identified by its tentacles, which are arranged in a distinctive undulating pattern. Like other species in the genus, it feeds on small marine organisms that it captures with its tentacles.
