Description
Astrea rugosa is a species of sea snail, a marine gastropod mollusk in the family Turbinidae, the turban snails. This species is distributed in the Caribbean Sea, the Gulf of Mexico and the Lesser Antilles. It has a shell that can reach a size of 15-20 mm. This species lives in shallow waters and is often found in reef environments.
