Arctic tern [Sterna paradisaea]

Description

The Arctic tern is a small bird that breeds in the Arctic and sub-Arctic regions and migrates to the Antarctic coast for the winter. It's known for its long-distance migratory patterns, often traveling over 25,000 miles annually. It has a diet that primarily consists of fish and small marine invertebrates.
