Arctic Hydroid [Lafoea arctica]

Description
The Arctic Hydroid or Lafoea arctica is another species in the Lafoea genus. It is similar to the Northern Hydroid in terms of its sessile lifestyle and feeding habits. However, as its name suggests, this species is specifically adapted to the cold, harsh conditions of the Arctic Ocean. They are characterized by their branched colonies that are usually white or light yellow, and are often found in shallow waters.
