Description
The Antarctic Toothfish is a species of notothen found in the Southern Ocean. It is a large, slow-growing species that can reach up to 2 meters in length and 135 kg in weight. They typically live in cold, deep waters, and are an important part of the Antarctic ecosystem. Their diet consists mainly of fish and squid. Distinguishing features include large, sharp teeth and a long lifespan, with some individuals living up to 50 years.
