Antarctic Shag [Leucocarbo bransfieldensis]

Description

The Antarctic Shag is a marine bird species found in the rocky Antarctic Peninsula and South Orkney Islands. It's similar in appearance to the Imperial Shag, and has often been considered a subspecies of it. The bird is characterized by a blue eye-ring and pinkish legs, with a diet primarily based on fish.
