Description
Filellum antarcticum, or the Antarctic filellum, is a species of hydroid cnidarians that is native to the Southern Ocean surrounding Antarctica. It is characterized by long, slender, and unbranched stems. It is typically found attached to substrates such as shells, stones, and algae in shallow to deep waters. It is a filter feeder, capturing small planktonic organisms with its hydranths.
