American Lobster [Homarus americanus]

Description
This species of lobster is found on the Atlantic coast of North America, from Labrador in the north to Cape Hatteras, North Carolina in the south. They have a robust body, large claws, and are usually bluish green to brown with red spines, but can be found in a variety of other colors. They are primarily nocturnal and spend most of their day hiding in crevices. The American Lobster feeds on fish, small crustaceans, and mollusks.
