Description
Acar penaeoides, commonly known as Acar's Brownback Shrimp, is a marine species mainly found in the warm tropical waters. It is characterized by a brownish back and a relatively large size compared to other related species. It is predominantly a nocturnal species and is known for its migratory behavior. These shrimps usually inhabit sandy or muddy substrates, often burrowing during the day and coming out to feed at night.
