Description

The Oriental Darter or Indian darter is a water bird found in South-East Asia. It has a similar body structure to the Anhinga, but its plumage is dark with shiny greenish and purplish streaks. It has a longer tail and a sharper beak in comparison. They are often found in freshwater bodies and feed on fish. Like the Anhinga, they also dry their wings after diving.
