Semipalmated Plover [Charadrius semipalmatus]

Description
Native to North and South America, this species is slightly smaller than the Common Ringed Plover. It has a single black neckband and a white forehead. The Semipalmated Plover feeds on insects, crustaceans, and worms. It has a distinctive half-webbing between its toes, which gives it its name.
