Japanese Sawshark [Pristiophorus japonicus]

Description
The Japanese Sawshark is found in the northwestern Pacific Ocean, specifically around Japan, Korea, and northern China. This sawshark species prefers to stay close to the sea floor at depths of 50 to 800 meters. It has a longer, narrower rostrum with closely set teeth compared to other sawsharks. The Japanese Sawshark is known to feed on fish, squid, and crustaceans.
