Description
Lowe's lanternfish is a deep-water species found in the eastern Atlantic Ocean, particularly near the Canary Islands and Madeira. It typically inhabits waters between 400 and 1,000 meters deep. Like other lanternfish, it is bioluminescent, with photophores lining its body. It is a small fish, typically measuring around 5 centimeters in length.
