Description
The Narrow-scaled Lanternfish, or Gymnoscopelus opisthopterus, is a species of marine fish found in the Southern Ocean. They are characterized by their slender body, large eyes, and the presence of photophores. They are usually found at depths of 200 to 1000 meters, and they migrate vertically to feed on zooplankton and small fish.
