Description

The Broadband Cardinalfish is a species of cardinalfish in the family Apogonidae. It is a marine, tropical fish that can be found in the Western Pacific region. The species is often found on coral reefs and in lagoon areas. They are small, growing up to 10 cm in length, and have a distinguishing broad white stripe running from the snout to the tail. They are nocturnal and exhibit mouthbrooding behavior where males incubate eggs in their mouths.
