Steephead Parrotfish [Chlorurus microrhinos]
Description
The Steephead Parrotfish is a marine species found in the tropical Indo-Pacific from the Red Sea and East Africa to the Line and Ducie islands, north to Japan, south to Australia. This species is found in lagoons and seaward reefs where it feeds on benthic algae. It is recognized by its steep forehead and small mouth.
