Description
Wellington's Coral is another deep-sea coral species from the Caryophylliidae family. Distinguished by its short, stout and white calices, this species is typically found in the waters of the South Pacific at depths of 600 to 1800 meters. They are solitary, non-reef building corals that feed on small particles suspended in the water.
