Sheet Coral [Leptoseris mycetoseroides]

Description
Leptoseris mycetoseroides, commonly called Sheet Coral, is found in the Western Pacific, particularly in the Great Barrier Reef. This coral species inhabits depths of 3 to 60 meters and prefers low to moderate water movement. Its colonies are flat and can cover large areas. It is characterized by its yellow to brown color and small, closely spaced corallites.
