Description
Leiopathes grimaldii, or the Deep-water Black Coral, is a species that occurs in the Atlantic Ocean. It is characterized by its large, fan-like colonies that can reach up to 1 meter in diameter. This species has been found at depths between 527 to 1,912 meters. It is typically found on steep, rocky slopes.
