Description
Tisbe biminiensis, also referred to as the benthic tisbe, is a marine copepod species that inhabits the sediment of shallow coastal environments. They are minute, with a body length of approximately 0.7-1 mm. The benthic tisbe has a distinctive cylindrical body shape and a robust first antennae. They primarily feed on detritus and algae.
