Gulf Weed Crab [Crinolina florida]

Description
This species is endemic to the Gulf of Mexico. The Gulf Weed Crab is a small species, with a carapace width of only 1.5 cm. It is most commonly found in Sargassum seaweed, where it uses its ability to change color to camouflage itself. The Gulf Weed Crab's diet consists mainly of small invertebrates, including amphipods, copepods, and isopods.
