Atlantic red-eyed prawn [Erythrops atlantica]

Description
The Atlantic red-eyed prawn is a species of mysid shrimp found in the western Atlantic Ocean. They inhabit waters ranging between 200 to 500 meters deep. They are noted for their long, slender bodies, and bright red eyes. Their diet largely consists of zooplankton and phytoplankton. They exhibit swarming behavior, often found in large groups during feeding.
