Ice krill [Euphausia crystallorophias]
Description
Ice krill are a species of krill that live in the Southern Ocean. They are so-called because they have a preference for living under the sea ice. Ice krill are smaller than Antarctic krill, reaching up to 3 cm in length. They feed primarily on ice algae.
