Description
Gynodiastylis minor is a smaller species within the Gynodiastylidae family. Despite its size, it shares many characteristics with its larger counterparts, including a preference for deep, cold water environments and a detritivorous diet. This species has a distinct, compact body shape which helps it burrow into the ocean floor sediment. It is known for its ability to remain hidden in the sediment for extended periods of time.
