Description

Colidotea rostrata, or the Red Sea Isopod, is a marine isopod species known for its distinct elongated body and jointed limbs. It is commonly found in the Red Sea, dwelling in the subtidal zone. This species exhibits nocturnal behavior, hiding in crevices during the day and coming out to feed at night. It can be distinguished by its rostrum, which extends beyond the first pair of antennae.
