Description
Nerocila exocoeti, known as the Gulf Isopod, is a species of marine isopod that parasitizes flying fishes in Gulf waters. The species has a broad, flattened body. Its distinguishing features are the large, strongly curved pereopods, which it uses to firmly attach to its hosts.
