Description

Baird's Hairy Crab, or Hemiarthrus bairdii, is an ocean-dwelling crustacean found in the western Atlantic Ocean, from Massachusetts to the Gulf of Mexico. They are detritus feeders, consuming organic matter from the ocean floor.
