Description
Isolda bellastriata, known as the Deepwater Isolda, is a marine bivalve mollusk found in the Western Central Atlantic, specifically off the coast of North Carolina to Florida and the Gulf of Mexico. It is often found in deep water, typically at depths of 180 to 730 meters. It has a thin, elongate shell with distinct radial striations. The color of the shell ranges from whitish to light brown.
