Description
Axiokebuita percula, commonly known as Axiokebuita's Clownfish, is a brightly colored species of anemonefish found in the warm waters of the Pacific Ocean. Recognizable by its vibrant orange body with distinctive white bands, this species is best known for its symbiotic relationship with sea anemones. The anemones provide the clownfish with protection from predators, while the clownfish provide food for the anemones. This species is also notable for its sequential hermaphroditism: all clownfish are born male, but the dominant male of a group will change into a female when the dominant female dies.
