Description
Scolelepis chilensis, also known as the Indian Ocean Beach Worm, is a species of marine polychaete worm native to the Indian Ocean. Its body is long and slender with numerous segments. It is a tube-dwelling species that constructs its tube in sandy substrates. The Indian Ocean Beach Worm feeds primarily on detritus and small organic particles.
