Gallardoneris iberica, commonly known as the Plume Worm, is a polychaete worm species native to the northeastern Atlantic Ocean and the Mediterranean Sea. It inhabits soft substrates, often found in silty or sandy areas. The species is recognized by its elongated body, which can reach lengths of up to 15 cm, and its numerous feathery gills that extend from its body segments. The Plume Worm is a filter feeder, using its gills to capture and eat small particles suspended in the water.
