Dwarf Seahorse [Procaulon pusillum]

Description
The Dwarf Seahorse, or Procaulon pusillum, is a small marine species that is native to the waters of the Caribbean Sea and the Gulf of Mexico. It is one of the smallest seahorse species in the world, reaching a maximum length of only about 5 cm. This species lives in seagrass beds and exhibits a wide range of colors that allow it to blend in with its surroundings. Like other seahorses, the males carry the fertilized eggs in a brood pouch.
