Spaghetti worm [Terebella lapidaria]

Description
Terebella lapidaria, commonly known as the spaghetti worm, is a species of marine polychaete worm. They are named for their long, thin, tentacle-like appendages which resemble strands of spaghetti. These worms inhabit sandy and rocky marine environments, where they construct tubes out of sand and shell fragments. They are filter feeders, using their long tentacles to catch and draw food particles into their mouths.
