Green Abalone [Tonicia elegans]
Description
The Green Abalone has a shell that is oval and slightly convex, with a green to brown exterior and a white to pink interior. This species is found in the intertidal zone and the subtidal zone to a depth of around 15 meters. It feeds on benthic algae.
