Description
The Golden Trapeze Cockle, or Trapezium flavum, is a tropical marine bivalve belonging to the family Cardiidae. Found in the waters of the Western Central Pacific, it is recognized by its golden yellow shell, which is covered in closely spaced radial ribs. The species is known to live in sandy or muddy substrates in shallow waters and feeds on plankton by filter feeding.
