Description
The Elkhorn Clam is a species of bivalve in the family Cardiidae. It is native to the Red Sea. It has been classified as critically endangered due to the significant reduction in population over the last century. The most distinguishing feature of the Elkhorn Clam is the large, branching extensions of its shell, which resemble the antlers of an elk.
