Turret Shell [Lirophora lyrata]

Description
The Turret Shell, or Lirophora lyrata, is another species of sea snail within the family Pseudomelatomidae. It is distributed along the Eastern Pacific Ocean, particularly from the Gulf of California to Peru. Lirophora lyrata is notable for its elongated, turret-like shell which can reach lengths of approximately 50 mm. The snail inhabits subtidal and low intertidal zones, often hiding under rocks or in crevices.
