Description
This marine bivalve species belongs to the Solenidae family. It is usually found in the Atlantic Ocean, hence the name. The shell is slender and elongated, similar to other species in the same genus, and has a light beige color. It prefers sandy or muddy substrates and is commonly found in moderately deep waters.
