Description
Swift's Scallop or Chlamys swifti is a species of scallop found in the western Pacific Ocean, ranging from Japan to the East China Sea. This species inhabits sandy and muddy bottoms in deep water. The shell of Swift's Scallop is cream or pale yellow, often with darker streaks or blotches. It is a filter feeder, feeding primarily on plankton.
