Ceiling jingle [Pododesmus cepio]

Description
The Ceiling jingle is a species in the Pododesmus genus. It is native to the Eastern Pacific, from Alaska to Baja California, Mexico. The Ceiling jingle inhabits intertidal zones and can often be found attached to the undersides of rocks. It has a thin, flat shell that is usually white or light gray, and a mantle that extends beyond the edge of the shell, giving it a fringed appearance.
