Asian Moon Scallop [Amusium pleuronectes]

Description
Amusium pleuronectes, also known as the Asian moon scallop, is a species of marine bivalve mollusk in the family Pectinidae, or the scallops. This species is commonly found in the waters of the Indo-Pacific region including the Red Sea and the Persian Gulf. They can be recognized by their round, flat shape and a shell that is almost completely transparent.
