Description
This species is a marine bivalve mollusk found predominantly in the Northern Atlantic Ocean. It is a cold water species inhabiting depths between 50 to 500 meters, typically in sandy or muddy sediments. It has a shell size of about 15-25 mm, with a sculpture of fine concentric lines and a white inner surface.
