Ribbed Ark Clam [Barbatia foliata]

Description
The Ribbed Ark Clam is a small bivalve mollusc that can be found in the Atlantic Ocean. It is characterized by its thin, somewhat translucent shell which is covered with fine, concentric growth lines. The outside of the shell is usually white or light gray, while the inside is glossy white. It is commonly found in seagrass beds and sandy or muddy bottoms.
