White baby ear [Sinum perspectivum]

Description
The White baby ear, or Sinum perspectivum, is a small sea snail. The shell of this species is typically white or light in color, fragile, glossy, and ear-shaped, hence its common name. It can be found in the sandy bottoms of the Atlantic Ocean, from North Carolina to Florida and the Gulf of Mexico. It buries itself in the sand during the day and comes out to feed at night, primarily on sea pens.
