Description
The Atlantic Moon Snail is a predatory marine gastropod. The snail's shell is rounded and inflated, typically white or cream-colored with brown markings. They are found in the Atlantic Ocean, from Canada to Florida, and inhabit sandy or muddy sea floors. They feed primarily on bivalves, using their radula to bore holes into their prey's shell.
